Degree Apprenticeship Series: Pathway to Professional Progression

Degree apprenticeships present a rewarding opportunity for those looking to further their education and gain practical work experience hand-in hand, combining academic knowledge and on the job training.

Jack Morris, an Optical Polisher at OpTIC Glyndwr Innovations, spoke to Business News Wales to explain what originally attracted him to the production engineering degree apprenticeship, how his academic studies only strengthened his skills to carry out his work at OpTIC and how the degree apprenticeship created a pathway for his responsibilities to positively increase over a 2-year period.
